Gift of schoolchildren to the National museum of Tajikistan

The museum is a cultural institution that reflecting the life and history of the people, its prosperity and adversity, achievements in sphere of science, culture, economy and politics, as well as the destiny of the historical figures of the Tajik people.

The National museum of Tajikistan is one of the most important cultural and educational institution of the country, plays an important role in collection, protection and popularization of the historical and cultural heritage of the Tajik people.

One of the main directions of educational activity of the museum are research, excursion and publishing activity on the basis of collected material of historical and cultural heritage. There is a systematic replenishment of funds. The newly arrived historical monuments will exhibit in the relevant sections of the exposition and to visitors will tell about them during the excursion.

A good example of love to the history of your homeland was a gratuitous transfer to the museum an interesting archaeological finds by pupils of the 6th form of school №118, Rudaki district. Pupils Azizov Umed Abdulazizovich, Saidov Yusuf Maksudovich, Sharifov Sharifkhuja Huseynovich, as well as Nilov Andrey the pupil of school №110 St. Petersburg, donated interesting historical objects to the National museum of Tajikistan.

In result of research and study by specialists of current field, it was determined that the finding objects were fragments from painted ceramic vessels belonged to the medieval period.

The head of the National museum of Tajikistan awarded the children with letter of thanks.

Actually, this action of schoolchildren deserves praise and can be an instructive example for others. Collecting and protecting the findings and historical artifacts are one of the main tasks of every citizen of the country.
