In the National Museum of Tajikistan on 04.05.2017 at 11:00 will be the opening of the exhibition "In the fight against Nazism, we were together". The exhibition is organize on the initiative of the National Museum of Tajikistan, the representative office of “Rossotrudnichestvo” in Tajikistan and the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 city of Moscow. At the exhibition, the National Museum of Tajikistan Fund will display 26 paintings with photographs of the combat exploits of the former Soviet Union republics: Tajikistan, the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, the Baltic republics (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia), 54 exhibits from among documents, pictures, posters, busts, clothes and military accessories of participants of the Second World War. The Great Patriotic War is a heroic struggle of all nationalities of the Soviet Union against fascism.
In the Great Patriotic War, 300,000 people were sent from Tajikistan, more than 90,000 people heroically died on the battlefield. Children of Tajikistan fought heroically and bravely, 54 people were awarded the honorary title of Hero of the Soviet Union, 19 people were awarded the Order of "Sharaf" of three degrees, more than 58 thousand were awarded orders and medals of the Soviet Union. By the working people of Tajikistan were sent 151 wagons of food and clothing to the front for warriors.
The exhibition "In the fight against Nazism we were together" will last until 10.05.2017.
