Attorney general of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Saud Ibn Abdullah Almuajib within the framework of the working visit with the aim of acquaintance with the rich history and culture of the Tajiks 19.10.2017 visited the National Museum of Tajikistan. Guests were accompanied by officials from the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
At the main entrance of the National Museum of Tajikistan they were met by the director of the National Museum of Tajikistan Sharifzoda Abduvali and the Prosecutor of the city of Dushanbe Sayidzoda Khairullo. The guests were visited by young specialists of the museum in Arabic at a high professional level.
They first looked at the relief map of the Republic of Tajikistan, then got acquainted with the exposition halls of the Departments of ancient and medieval history, the modern and contemporary history of the National Museum of Tajikistan. It should be noted that the guests' attention was attracted by finds from ancient town of Panjakent, wall murals of Panjakent, samples of women's and men's clothing of that era, unique books and manuscripts, a mock-up of the Buddhist monastery of Aginateppa, Iskodar Mihrab (a niche in the inner wall of the mosque, indicating the direction to Mecca) and Hall of gifts of the President - the leader of the nation Emomali Rahmon.
Then, the Attorney general of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Saud Ibn Abdullah Almuajib, as a sign of friendship, expressed his impressions in the book "Honored Guests".
At the end of the visit, guests from the leadership of the National Museum of Tajikistan, as a symbol of love and disposition, were presented with memorable gifts.
