Procedure and Requirements for Museum Visits

  1. By entering the museum’s exhibition area, visitors must present the ticket at a checkpoint center;
  2. For the privileged categories of visitors, admission is given upon presentation of a document;
  3. Visitors must keep the ticket until the end of the tour;
  4. Tour services at the exhibition halls are performed only by the tour guides of the museum;
  5. Visitors can use photographic and video equipment only with a special permit (a ticket to carry out photo and video shooting);

Visitors are prohibited from:

Bringing to the exhibition halls:

  1. Entering the museum in a state of intoxication, as well as the influence of drugs or toxic substances
  2. Large bags, briefcases, backpacks, umbrellas, (sizes do not exceed 20 x 30,) prohibited to the museum area;
  3. Entering with food and drink;
  4. Using any open fire, pyrotechnics (fireworks, firecrackers, etc.);
  5. Having and / or carrying any animal;
  6. Smoking in the museum area

Entering the museum is prohibited in the following situations:

  • Intoxication from alcohol, as well as the influence of toxic substances;
  • Outdoor clothes;
  • Entering without permission the service and manufacturing and technical facilities in the area of the museum;
  • Touching layouts, objects and windows, putting any objects on a mock;
  • Engaging in commercial, advertising and other activities;
  • Running in the exhibition halls of the museum, talking loudly, singing and talking on the phone during the tour;
  • Using the area of the museum without the written permission of its administration to engage in commercial, advertising conducing tours, selling tickets and other activities;
  • Using and talking on the phone in the exhibition halls;
  • In case of noticing any doubtful items in the museum, such as bags, backpack, etc. visitors must immediately inform the guards, representatives of the security services of the museum, duty officers, or other museum staff;
  • Visitors are obliged to follow these rules and carry out the request of the museum staff on the implementation of the existing procedures;
  • At the concentration of a large number of people, visitors should follow the rules of public places, respect each other and respect the pregnant women, mothers, children, and people with disabilities;
  • Without the permission of the museum administration, visitors have no right to enter museums storage and laboratories;
  • In case of violation of these rules in the exhibition halls the Safeguards of Security Service of the museum have the right to apply measures aimed at ensuring the safety of visitors and stay, i.e. remove the offending from the museum building. If there is strict violation the rules, the offenders will be given to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan;
  • Damaging any facilities and equipment of the Museum, as well as its property, in case of violation of this paragraph the person who caused damage to the property must compensate the damage in full. This fact is fixed, the materials are submitted for consideration under applicable law;

Note: During the implementation of these regulations, were used the guidelines on accepting visitors of the world famous museums.
